Pendukung mantan Presiden Brasil Jair Bolsonaro yang menolak menerima kekalahan saat pemilihan menyerbu Istana Kepresidenan, Kongres, dan Mahkamah Agung Brasil pada Minggu (9/1). Insiden itu terjadi seminggu setelah pelantikan saingannya, Presiden Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Ribuan demonstran melewati barikade keamanan, naik ke atap, memecahkan jendela, serta menyerbu ketiga gedung yang diyakini kosong pada akhir pekan.

The incident occurred a week after the inauguration of his leftist rival, president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Thousands of demonstrators bypassed security barricades, climbed on roof, smashed windows, and invaded all three buildings, which were believed to be largely vacant on the weekend.
