MEvITS, Homegrown Electric Car from ITS Surabaya

Inilah Mevits atau Kendaraan Listrik Serbaguna ITS. Mobil tersebut merupakan gagasan tim dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. Tim yang membuatnya menggambarkan jeep ini tangguh, efisien, elegan dan stylish dengan jarak maksimal 200 kilometer dan dapat menempuh berbagai medan. Kecepatan tertingginya adalah 100 kilometer per jam, ditenagai oleh baterai 20 kilowatt per jam. Mevits merupakan hasil proyek bersama dengan beberapa start up untuk membuat mobil yang bisa mengangkut penumpang atau barang.

This is Mevits or Multipurpose Electric Vehicle ITS. The car is the brainchild of a team from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology. The team described the jeep as tough, efficient, elegant and stylish with a maximum distance of 200 kilometers and could travel on various terrains. Its top speed is 100 kilometers per hour, powered by a 20 kilowatt per hour battery. Mevits is the result of a joint project with several start-ups to create a car that could carry passengers or goods.
