Pidakala War Ritual Believed To Bring Health, Prosperity, Rainfal

Ratusan orang melakukan ritual perang saling lempar kotoran sapi yang dikenal dengan Perang Pidakala, Kamis (23/3). Tahun demi tahun, Perang Pidakala menuai banyak luka. Meski berisiko tinggi cedera selama ritual, banyak peserta tidak mencari perawatan medis. Sebaliknya, mereka memilih untuk mengoleskan abu ke luka mereka.

Hundreds of people engage in a ritualistic battle by throwing cow dung at each other, known as pidakala war on Thursday (3/23). Year after year, The Pidakala War draws many injuries. Despite the high risk of injuries during the ritual, many participants do not seek medical treatment. Instead, they choose to apply ash to their wounds.
