Abandoned Baby Tapir Rescued

Seekor bayi tapir yang ditinggalkan ibunya setelah terjatuh ke selokan berhasil diselamatkan oleh penduduk di Kuantan Singingi, Riau, Kamis (23/3). Setelah berhasil diselamatkan, bayi tapir ini menjalani perawatan dan rehabilitasi sebelum nantinya akan dilepaskan kembali ke alam liar setelah dewasa.

An abandoned young tapir is receiving treatment, after its rescue from a hole by a local in Riau’s Kuantan Singingi Regency on Thursday (3/23). After treatment, the tapir will undergo rehabilitation to prepare her for release into her natural habitat, when she comes of age.
