648 Kilogram Marshmallow Made in Mexico Breaks World Record

Perusahaan makanan dan permen asal Meksiko, Mazapán de la Rosa SA de CV, berhasil memecahkan rekor dunia dengan membuat marshmallow terbesar, dilansir dari Kumparan, Minggu (30/7). Marshmallow ini memiliki bobot sebesar 648,40 kilogram, yang beratnya hampir mirip dengan sebuah grand piano. 

Menurut laman Guinness World Records, marshmallow ini dibuat dalam waktu dua hari. Proses pengisian adonan ke dalam cetakan menghabiskan waktu selama 1 jam 53 menit. Persiapan pembuatan dilakukan selama 53 jam oleh 100 orang. Marshmallow raksasa ini diresmikan sebagai bagian dari perayaan ulang tahun ke-200 negara bagian Jalisco di Meksiko.

Food and candy company from Mexico, Mazapán de la Rosa SA de CV, successfully broke the world record by making the biggest marshmallow, according to Kumparan on Sunday (7/30). This Marshmallow weighs 648,40 kilograms, close to the weight of a grand piano. 

According to Guinness World Records’s page, this marshmallow is made within two days. The process to fill the dough into the mould takes 1 hour and 53 minutes. The preparations were finished in 53 hours by 100 people. This giant marshmallow is officially launched as a part of the 200th anniversary of Jalisco state in Mexico.
