Meet The Creators: Wastraloka


Wastraloka is a producer of canned crafts and home decor as well as other natural materials such as wood and rattan. The inventor of Wastraloka, Eni Anjayani, explained that Wastraloka is a Sanskrit language which means wastra is the traditional cloth of the archipelago and loka which means a place like heaven. The products sold are very diverse and unique, including cans of crackers, tumblr, plant pots, and many others with painting motifs typical of Indonesian culture.

Wastraloka also uses recycled materials which are left over from the refrigerator factory. Wastraloka's target market is batik lovers and culture lovers who are very aware of Indonesian culture.
